Savage Mode
“The highly anticipated sequel to the rapper's 'Savage Mode' collaboration with Metro Boomin does not disappoint”
SAVAGE MODE II
“The rapper-producer duo return with a gritty, cinematic experience that raises the bar”
SAVAGE MODE II

SAVAGE MODE II
“Savage Mode II is a rare instance of the sequel being WAY better than the original.”
Savage Mode
“The sequel to the canonical Atlanta mixtape is meant to be a legacy-defining stamp, but despite all its glossy guest stars (Morgan Freeman!), it never rises above “just fine.””
SAVAGE MODE II
“I’m not a big 21 Savage fan but this album is absolutely great and outshines the rest of his discography by a mile. An entire album produced by Metro Boomin is bound to bring success which this does massively. Production is top level with 21’s rapping being simple & effective over the usual trap style beats, with Morgan Freeman also narrating throughout the album as well giving off an unintentional comedic aspect as the discusses the difference between snitches and rats and what “savage mode” is. Top songs for me are ‘Runnin’ ‘Glock In My Lap’ ‘Mr. Right Now’ ft Drake ‘Rich Ni**a Shit’ ft Young Thug ‘Slidin’ ‘Many Men’ ‘Steppin On Ni**as’”
SAVAGE MODE II
“I grew up hating ‘trap’-genre of rap music cause I thought it was stupid and a digression of how beats and old-school hip-hop production came alive in the studio. Metro changed that for me. Legit, this album was my introductory to the modern world of trap, particularly cause it’s one of the few mainstream album of its genre that’s not Future-tagged at the time.”
