Nothing Was the Same
“Drake has gone from an unlikely rapper to an accepted rapper to maybe the biggest rapper out, all in four years, and he’s the genre’s biggest pop crossover star. His new album is a dimly lit affair, both morose and triumphant; as Drake albums go, this is the Drakiest.”
Take Care (Deluxe Version)
“With his penchant for poetic over-sharing, Drake is an apt avatar for the era of reality television and 24-hour self-documentation. Backed by lush and moody beats, Take Care finds him putting his talents to use on his strongest set of songs so far.”
Thank Me Later
“Inspired by rap and R&B in equal measure, Drake becomes the first of the post-Kanye, emo-y rappers to fully deliver on his debut LP.”
Care Package
“This odds-and-ends compilation features tracks originally released between 2010 and 2016, and presents a more vulnerable version of the pop colossus we know now.”
Honestly, Nevermind
“His seventh studio album is both a radical departure and a decently safe bet”
Scorpion
“The boy is back. Drake just released his fifth studio album, Scorpion, the followup to his 2017 playlist, More Life. With a weighty rollout including endearing videos for "God's Plan" and "Nice For What" and the less-favoured single "I'm Upset," Drake aims to come out stronger, more focused and more righteous than ever. The 25-track album comes organized into two parts, with a collection of song”
Take Care (Deluxe Version)
“Drakes best album no doubt. Filled with hit after hit and a lot of his best songs come from this album. A lot of inspiration and ideas for this album clearly come from The Weeknd, who was blowing up at this time and had multiple co-signs and collabs with Drake at this point, and I think the album benefits at lot from it as well. This would’ve been rated a lot higher for me but there is a lot of filler in this album and it could’ve been doing with cutting out 2 or 3 tracks but a really great album overall. Top songs are ‘Headlines’ ‘Crew Love’ ft The Weeknd ‘Take Care’ ft Rihanna ‘Marvins Room’ ‘Doing It Wrong’ ‘The Ride’ ft The Weeknd”
Nothing Was the Same
“A really good album from Drake, not anywhere near ‘Take Care’ for me personally. A lot of Drakes classic songs come from this album and he has a lot of great rap performances throughout the album as well. The album as a whole could’ve been a lot better, I feel some of the beats are quite boring and Drakes flows don’t really seem to change too much from song to song. Top songs off the album for me are ‘Tuscan Leather’ ‘Started From The Bottom’ ‘From Time’ ft Jhené Aiko ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’ ft Majid Jordan ‘Too Much’ ft Sampha ‘Pound Cake / Paris Morton Music 2’ ft JAY-Z ‘Come Thru’”
If You're Reading This It's Too Late
“Forgot how great this album is. This is the best Drake has sounded on an album, the lowkey production matches his flows and energy perfectly. Some really great songs on here too, would’ve been rated a lot higher but there’s a bit of a low point in the album round about the middle when PARTYNEXTDOOT features, but other than that this album is really great. Top songs are ‘Energy’ ‘Know Yourself’ ‘No Tellin’’ ‘Star67’ ‘Now & Forever’ ‘You & The 6’ ‘Jungle’”
Views
“This album has so many bangers. It’s ultra moody and the production with Drakes monotone delivery both go so well together. No gangster talk just Drake crying about women troubles and to be honest that’s probably when he’s at his best. Top songs are ‘U With Me?’ ‘Feel No Ways’ ‘Controlla’ ‘One Dance’ ‘Too Good’ ft Rihanna ‘Fire & Desire’ ‘Views’ ‘Hotline Bling’”
More Life
“Terrible from Drake. The accent he adopts for this album is laughable and completely throws you off. Songs mostly sounds like tracks that never made ‘Views’. Obviously there’s a few really good songs on here but for the most part it’s misses. Top songs are ‘Passionfruit’ ‘Portland’ ft Travis Scott & Quavo ‘Teenage Fever’”
Certified Lover Boy
“LISTENED: 07/08/2025 Probably the most unfocused album i’ve ever listened to, cause this album has no idea what it wants to be. Have to pick and choose a few tracks to like that ARE pretty good, but another case of a Drake album needing a lot of song-digging to find a good one. Also, “Way 2 Sexy” is Drake’s worst song.”
For All The Dogs
“LISTENED: 07/31/2025 The dark, moody, and love-centered theme gives this album a really special mood, but this album loses its plot at so many points it’s honestly funny. Spanish Drake isn’t that bad, and I think if Drake gets in any more beefs, we’re gonna have a whole album full of only beef bars in the future.”
So Far Gone
“LISTENED: 05/04/2025 Drake, on his breakout mixtape, incorporates some beats from already-existing songs, but adding his unique style of speaking about love, parties, and some bravado to be on them. With that, there are very few quality tracks, but this album is overall just all over the place.”
