Dirty Sprite
“Future’s consistency works to his disadvantage; his relentless stream of albums and mixtapes this decade can feel like a level plane. *Dirty Sprite 2* is manifestly some kind of peak, though, in quality and mainstream impact. The album works as a microcosm of Future’s career: fixated in themes and mood, a steady accumulation of dirge upon dirge sustaining his bleak vision of joyless hedonism. It c”
DS2 (Deluxe)
“Dirty Sprite 2 brushes aside the pop overtures of Future's sophomore album Honest. Building off a powerful three-mixtape comeback run, DS2 is bleak and unforgiving, a redemption story for a man who is certain it’s too late for his soul to be redeemed; instead of a triumphal arc, we burrow deeper and deeper into Future’s dystopian universe.”
Honest (Deluxe)
“After a protracted streak of hijacking Top 40 smashes like “U.O.E.N.O.” and “Bugatti”, spitballing weirdness out on mixtapes, and farming his more saccharine ideas out to huge pop stars, Atlanta's Future returns with Honest.”
I NEVER LIKED YOU
“Atlanta’s trap overlord proves he’s still on top”
BEASTMODE 2
“The newly vulnerable Future and the hyper-expressive Zaytoven offer up a sequel that doesn’t just reprise the original’s magic but improves on it.”
FUTURE
“Future can be polarizing: You either love or hate him, without much middle ground. But, as evidenced by an impeccable string of releases, he's stumbled onto the winning formula for concocting bangers, like a hip-hop version of the professor from The Powerpuff Girls when he accidentally added Chemical X to his mixture. FUTURE, the surprise (and featureless) fifth studio album from Future Hendri”
DS2 (Deluxe)
“Solid album from Future but as big a reputation this album has, I was a bit underwhelmed with it. Obviously has a good few songs on it and nothing on it sounds bad at all but a lot of it all sounds the same as the last song. Still a really good trap album. Top songs are “Thought It Was A Drought” “Where Ya At” ft Drake “Freak Hoe” “Colossal” “Blood On The Money” “Trap Ni**as” “The Percocet & Stripper Joint””
I NEVER LIKED YOU
“One of my favorite Future albums. As always, at times repetitive but the top songs are just sensational. “I’m On One” and “Wait For You” are just phenomenal.”
DS2 (Deluxe)
“Lacked a hook imo but never the less a classic trap album”
