Justice
“Around this time last year, Justin Bieber put out his fifth album, ‘Changes’. It was meant to pick up where the hugely successful ‘Purpose’ had left off five years earlier, while also ushering in a new era for the Canadian pop star. But it failed to live up to expectations, lacking the passion, direction and individualism that his previous effort had thrived upon. Bieber’s sense of self had been l”
Justice
“Underneath the ill-advised MLK quotes, you’ll find an earnest pop album that unearths the charisma and agility that helped make Bieber a star.”
Purpose
“Justin Bieber and One Direction have always been the yin and yang of the pop-idol game, but never more so than now. They bring opposite agendas to their new LPs: Bieber is the comeback kid, with "Sorry" as his theme song. He spends Purpose learning lessons, begging for forgiveness and vowing to be a better Bieber. But 1D are racing for the exit – after announcing a split (hopefully temporary, beca”
Purpose
“The advance singles for Justin Bieber’s Purpose showcased his best performances to date while hinting at a successful transition beyond teen pop. And yet, the full record too often comes off like a redemptive PowerPoint presentation while suggesting that the singer’s idea of "adulthood" involves the ability to convey pettiness without emotional intelligence.”

“fascinating sounds with little lyrical depth”
Believe Acoustic
“You thought "Chillin' by the fire while we eatin' fondue" was the most sublimely ridiculous lyric in pop history when Justin Bieber rapped it? Wait until you hear him sing it, in a love-man croon, over delicately brushed bossa-nova-style guitar. The latest offering from the Bieber Industrial Complex, featuring eight sotto voce acoustic renditions of songs from Believe, is worth it for that "Boyfri”
SWAG II
“Justin surprised all of us when he released SWAG. After a 4 year drought we were content with the music he blessed us with in that album. Then only 2 months later he released SWAG II with an additional 23 songs. SWAG II includes 44 tracks all in all with a run time of 2 hours and 11 minutes. After firing his manager and all those who held influence over his music industry, it was just him in the studio with his wife Hailey, and his son jack, to support him. Creating music his way and conveying what he wants makes this album feel so authentic, a break from the shows and the productions. Justin is working on the art that HE wants to bring us. Tracks that everyone can appreciate and for Justin to spill out of.”
SWAG
“As a longtime music fan who’s followed Justin Bieber’s evolution, Swag feels like a disappointing step backward. While the production is polished and the hooks try to land, the album leans too heavily on tired lyrics and recycled vibes. There’s a lack of growth here—emotionally and creatively. A few tracks show flashes of potential, but overall, it feels more like a branding exercise than a meaningful project. For an artist capable of deeper work, this just doesn’t cut it.”
