METRO BOOMIN PRESENTS SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (SOUNDTRACK FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE MOTION PICTURE)
“The Atlanta trap architect shifts into the nostalgia lane with a talent-stacked double mixtape that’s like a crystallized memory of the club in the mid-2010s.”
NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES
“Not All Heroes Wear Capes is a pretty cohesive listen for a producer-guided album, but it's not fire from front to back.”
METRO BOOMIN PRESENTS SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE (SOUNDTRACK FROM AND INSPIRED BY THE MOTION PICTURE)
“An amazing album. Metro got the go ahead for the ‘Spider-Man Across The Spiderverse’ sound track and he smashed it out the park. Ditching the usual trap style production and going for a more futuristic/synthy style which works perfect for the album and for the multiple scenes in movie. The features all play their part great as well especially Don Toliver, Lil Uzi Vert, Swae Lee, A$AP Rocky & Coi Leray to name a few. Top songs for me are ‘Annihilate’ ft Swae Lee, Lil Wayne & Offset ‘Am I Dreaming’ ft A$AP Rocky & Roisee ‘All The Way Live’ ft Future & Lil Uzi Vert ‘Silk & Cologne’ ft EI8HT & Offset ‘Self Love’ ft Coi Leray ‘Link Up’ ft Don Toliver, Wizkid, BEAM & Toian ‘Givin Up’ ft Don Toliver, 21 Savage & 2 Chainz ‘Home’ ft Lil Uzi Vert & Don Toliver”
NOT ALL HEROES WEAR CAPES
“Another solid album from Metro Boomin. Production is great and the features, although they are repetitive, work well with Metro and his style. The start of the album is really great but the second half falls off a good bit and stops the album from being a much better one overall. Top songs off the album are ‘Overdue’ ft Travis Scott ‘Don’t Come Out The House’ ft 21 Savage ‘Dreamcatcher’ ft Swae Lee & Travis Scott ‘Space Cadet’ ft Gunna ‘10 Freaky Girls’ ft 21 Savage ‘No Complaints’ fr Offset & Drake”
HEROES & VILLAINS
“Solid album from Metro. Production from Metro is great as always and the features all do their part. I feel like the album could’ve been more adventurous but he sticks to what he knows which comes off well so you can’t really complain. Top songs are ‘On Time’ ft John Legend ‘Superhero (Heroes & Villians)’ ft Future ‘Too Many Nights’ ft Don Toliver ‘Trance’ ft Travis Scott & Young Thug ‘All The Money’ ft Gunna ‘Around Me’ ft Don Toliver”
HEROES & VILLAINS
“Phenomenal album. Metro’s production is amazing all the way from the start to finish. The features dont disappoint from don toliver’s cold flow on too many nights to takeoffs perfect verse on feel the fiyah. This album has something for everyone. However some tracks feel repetitive and drag on a bit. Overall a very strong Metro album.”
