KID A MNESIA
“New deluxe set 'Kid A Mnesia' presents 'Kid A' and 'Amnesiac' as two halves of the same groundbreaking musical statement”
OK Computer OKNOTOK 1997 2017
“Our take on the 'OKNOTOK 1997 2017' reissue that pairs the original album with B-sides and three never-released songs”
OK Computer OKNOTOK 1997 2017
“Radiohead's OKNOTOK is an unsettling reminder of OK Computer's prescience”
OK Computer OKNOTOK 1997 2017
“Twenty years on, Radiohead revisit their 1997 masterpiece with a deluxe reissue. The bonus material includes familiar B-sides and a few previously unheard recordings that hint at an intriguing road not taken.”
Kid A
“I had never even seen a shooting star before. 25 years of rotations, passes through comets' paths, and travel, and to my memory I had never witnessed burning debris scratch across the night sky. Radiohead were hunched over their instruments. Thom Yorke slowly beat on a grand piano, singing, eyes closed, into his microphone like he was trying to kiss around a big nose. Colin Greenwood tapped patien”
The Bends
“An album that speaks less of destiny and more about a restless energy to create and explore”
In Rainbows
“Throughout its tenure, Radiohead has crafted numerous legendary albums steeped in heartbreak and unease. This shifted in 2007 with the release of “In Rainbows.” In Rainbows is a very lush and intimate record that transcends listeners into another dimension. Despite being more accessible and melodic, In Rainbows still manages to push a quietly devastating theme. The record is exceedingly compelling due to the fact it is emotionally rich, yet doesn’t sound overly dramatic or performative. I don’t consider this album a 10/10, not because it lacks quality, but because I personally gravitate toward the darker, more unsettling atmosphere of their earlier albums. Still, In Rainbows is undeniably a masterpiece, and I believe it is a High 9.”
The Bends
“This album is what put them on the map and I completely understand why, from the amazing vocals to the outstanding performances by the other members of the band I can understand it’s important but comparing to other works by them and other bands it’s just not up to par with their best and the best of many others”
Kid A
“This album gets saved by some incredible songs that are tossed in with some lackluster others. Motion Picture Soundtrack and How to Disappear Completely are two of the most beautifully written songs ever, but the rest of these songs aren’t gonna resonate with many people.”
Hail to the Thief
“Very underrated, besides “in rainbows” and/or “the bends”, I’d say that this is my favourite Radiohead album. I love “sail to the moon” and “2+2=5”, beautiful songs, beautiful albums.”
OK Computer
“Probably top 10 albums of all time wouldn’t argue if u made an argument for best the direction is incredible and was speechless the entire way through”
In Rainbows
“Um dos discos mais fodas que já ouvi, eu amo esse disco e tinha esquecido o quanto. Simplesmente não tem música ruim, é impossível pular uma faixa. Esse disco mora no meu coração. Vibe comer milho cozido e logo depois banana frita Faixa favorita - all I need, weird fishes, reckoner eu amo todas na verdade, difícil escolher uma.”
In Rainbows
“This has been my first 10/10 album this year, and yes, I’ve only just listened to this album. Almost every song on this album is completely perfect and is a really good way of getting into Radiohead if you haven’t listened to them before. Powerful vocals, powerful instrumentation, touching lyrics.”
The Bends
“This album includes all of the aspects of traditional rock, but puts a Radiohead twist on it. Fake Plastic Trees is a masterpiece and is one of the best written Radiohead songs. This is a must listen album for any rock fan.”
