LUX
“an arresting album of astonishing scope and ambition”
LUX
“Paste Pick: On her fourth album, the Catalan superstar wields her usual genre-smashing instincts to create an ambitious, masterful classical avant-pop work exploring the confounding mysteries of love, God, and the divine feminine.”
EL MAL QUERER
“The second album from the Spanish singer is a remarkable feat, seamlessly linking flamenco’s characteristic melodrama to the heart-wrenching storytelling of modern, woman-flexing R&B.”
LUX
“The Spanish singer’s fourth record is a heartfelt offering of avant-garde classical pop that roars through genre, romance, and religion.”
LUX
“Rosalía wants the world. Since crashing into public consciousness with her glittering 2018 breakthrough El Mal Querer — and the tidal wave of critical praise, brand deals and accusations of appropriation that came in its wake — the Spanish pop star has maintained an anachronistic belief in music's capacity for borderless cultural exchange. In her utopian vision of pop's future, any rules are ratt”
EL MAL QUERER
“Rosalía makes a fantastic transition into modern pop aesthetics without sacrificing her flamenco roots.”
LUX
“Listening to LUX feels like stepping into a completely new universe. One that spans cultures, emotions, and even spiritual planes. Rosalía doesn’t just make pop music here; she crafts a symphonic, cinematic experience that pushes the boundaries of what a modern album can be. It’s ambitious, daring, and utterly captivating from start to finish. Right away, the four‑movement structure pulls you in. There’s a satisfying arc from raw intensity to serene transcendence that mirrors the emotional journey the album invites you on. Rosalía’s vocal performance throughout is masterful: intimate and expressive one moment, sweeping and dramatic the next, often supported by lush orchestral arrangements that feel both ancient and futuristic. What really sold me on this album was how it rewards deep listening. It’s not background music; it’s a record that talks to you about love, transformation, devotion, and self‑discovery. Tracks shift across languages and genres with effortless grace, yet throughout it all, Rosalía’s personality and vision remain unmistakably at the center. There are moments that feel like breathtaking revelations. Whether it’s the operatic grandeur of “Berghain,” the emotional richness of “Divinize,” or the tender beauty of “Magnolias.” It’s an album that grows with every listen and often surprises you with its depth and emotional clarity. Critically, LUX has been widely hailed as a landmark release that blends high artistry with pop sensibility, and it’s easy to see why. breathtaking, bold, and unforgettable. This isn’t just an album; it’s a journey worth taking again and again. 🎶✨”
Los Ángeles
“Los Ángeles is stark, intimate, and emotionally heavy in a way that feels almost confrontational. Stripped down to mostly voice and guitar, the album puts Rosalía’s raw flamenco delivery front and center, with no production tricks to hide behind. It can feel austere and demanding, but that’s the point—this is music about grief, faith, and longing, sung with total commitment. Not flashy or easy, but deeply sincere, and a powerful glimpse of Rosalía before the experimentation took over.”
EL MAL QUERER
“El Mal Querer is a bold, meticulously crafted album that reimagines flamenco through a modern pop and experimental lens. Rosalía’s voice is the anchor that is raw, controlled, and emotionally loaded. While the production balances minimalism with sharp, unexpected turns. Songs like “Malamente” and “Pienso en Tu Mirá” hit hard without sacrificing depth. It’s not casual listening, but that focus is its strength: a confident, risky statement that still feels striking and original”
MOTOMAMI
“Me imagino a los jóvenes dentro de 30 años deseando haber vivido en esta era. Motomami no es un álbum cómodo; es caótico, juguetón, provocador y consciente de su tiempo… ¡pa ti naki chicken teriyaki!”
LUX
“When you deep dive into its concept, understand the meaning behind each song, when you get the reason why every language here is spoken, every storyline, every character explored here, you realize you’re listening to a masterpiece. The reasons why I don’t think it’s perfect are not too many and don’t affect the listener’s experience in a way that would make them think this is a mediocre or bad album at all. Some verses could’ve been better written, some songs seem to be cut short for the mass appeal, sometimes I wish there were more moments with instrumentals as impressive as there are in Berghain, given that she worked with the world’s most important symphony orchestra. But aside from this minor issues, the album thrives from the listener’s struggle to understand everything at once, she knows she’s demanding a lot from the fans, and that only adds up to it’s magnificence. A beautifully written, produced and performed record that will be remembered decades from now. I would describe it as a bold move into a more vertical direction.”

“HIGHLIGHT TRACKS: Sexo, Violencia y Llantas Divinize Mio Cristo Piange Diamanti Dios Es Un Stalker La Rumba Del Perdón Rosalía really reminded me of how beautiful being bilingual is; especially when present in music projects. This album is one of a kind, I have never heard anything like it. The vocal range Rosalía demonstrates is beautiful shown and enhanced by the enchanting chords and instrumentals present. I knew from the lead single, Berghain, that this album was going to be big. Revolutionary. The pure emotion displayed by the beautiful band’s performance is just simply, breathtakingly stunning. 2025 had been a big year for music. LUX though, shines brighter than the masses.”
LUX
“i could genuinely go in depth dissecting every corner of this project. meticulously crafted, emotionally rich album that blends classical and contemporary elements into a timeless, spiritual experience. it explores mystique, femininity, divinity, and introspection with depth and elegance, feeling intentional in every detail and clearly made with love and care. beautifully written, produced, and performed — an immersive work of art that invites reflection and lingers long after it ends.”
LUX
“a solid 10/10 after giving us motomami rosalia truly reinvented herself with this album, the way that she represents the connection with God over any physical or material thing it’s pure art.”
