“**💭 Thoughts:** Often viewed as one of thrash metal’s best, *Reign in Blood*, Slayer’s third full-length LP delivers relentless guitar riffs and explosive drumming. Overall, this album is fantastic, with what I regard to be perfect drumming from Dave Lombardo and the masterfully crafted riffs from Jeff Hanneman and Kerry King. The only thing holding this album back from being perfect is the vocal performances on “Necrophobic,” “Jesus Saves,” and “Reborn,” where it seems vocalist Tom Araya is speaking so rapidly to the point where it’s unintelligible and a tad unpleasant.
