Domain of Death | 4.6/10 - Below Average
💭 Thoughts: Mortician’s 2001 debut, Domain of Death, is an extremely brutal death metal album, packed with crushing guitar riffs and machine-gun-fast double bass that is unappealing to many listeners. While I love death metal, this album feels overly bloated, with much of the tracklist blending together and leaving few memorable moments. As a result, it isn’t a very cohesive listen, and it certainly isn’t for everyone. That said, there are still a handful of tracks I’ll definitely be revisiting.
