I’m not usually the type to listen to his music but i really enjoyed the quality of this album. Of course the production for an album of his music caliber was nearly perfect but i still have to give it props. The intros to a lot of these songs were very well put. I hadn’t seen much of this album rollout until the time of the release came around. I also really liked how he included subtle “features” like adding in the infamous adlibs by nine vicious in “THIS A MUST”. Kanye’s ties into the alternative music scene has been very close in the last couple of years with Playboi Carti collabs, listening to Nettspend Osamason & 2hollis songs for production inspiration, and even more with his daughter North West being tapped in with the current underground scene. This project was definitely something i enjoyed listening too and i will likely have a couple songs off of this be in my rotation soon. My absolute favorite from this album was “LAST BREATH (feat. Peso Pluma)”. I loved this song so much, the production, flow control, and on top of everything Peso Pluma’s versatility moving into Ye’s sound as well as Ye teaming up with him in a Latin twist on this type of music to me was incredible. I don’t listen to Peso Plumas music at all i’ve only heard him off of popular songs that reach the internet but i’ve always found him talented and this really showed me the extent to how he can work in the music industry. This album was decent.
