There’s a warmth and maturity in this record that makes it feel more lived-in, like a long drive with the windows down and memories flooding back. It may not hit quite as hard as Days Are Gone in terms of immediate impact, but the emotional depth and intricate production earn it a solid 4.5 stars. A beautiful, soulful evolution from a band that continues to impress.
