As a punk rock trio based out of Olympia, Wash. and signed to Sub Pop, Strange Wilds can hardly escape the comparison to Nirvana on their debut LP. But the tendency is all the more irresistible given how closely they mirror the sound and aesthetic of that band's earliest work.
