The Clean’s debut full-length, now reissued on vinyl by Captured Tracks with a bonus live EP, came after they’d already been legends for almost a decade. After the rough and ready four-track recordings that marked their early singles and EPs, Vehicle was very much like a studio creation, but the fuller production didn't harm the performances.
