As a longtime HAIM fan, Women in Music Pt. III is a bold, personal record that shows the sisters experimenting more than ever—but not every risk lands. There are standout tracks like “The Steps” and “Gasoline” that absolutely shine with that signature HAIM groove and vulnerability, but the album’s pacing sometimes loses its footing in the middle. It’s introspective, raw, and creatively daring—just not as cohesive as Days Are Gone or Something to Tell You. Still, it’s HAIM, so even at three stars, there’s plenty to admire.

Women in Music Pt. III is the Haim sisters' most solid set of songs yet.
