ZAYN (2021)
“Nobody Is Listening by Zayn Malik feels like a more introspective, lowkey step in his catalog, but it doesn’t always land the way you want it to. As a fan, you can appreciate the moody atmosphere and moments of honesty on tracks like “Vibez” and “Better,” but a lot of the album blends together without leaving a strong impact. His vocals are still smooth and effortless, but the stripped-back production sometimes feels too minimal, almost unfinished. It’s not a bad project…it just feels like it’s missing that spark”
