The Chicago blackened doom band Indian's fifth album wields as much power from a distance as it does in close quarters. With ex-Wolves in the Throne Room guitarist Will Lindsay re-enlisting to split guitars and vocals, and Bloodyminded mastermind Mark Solotroff adding sheets of noise, it's an album whose every layer seems customized and every crease deliberate.
