Wow what a great comeback album. The only track that was below a 8/10 was circles and it’s still a decent song. I love this new era but the only thing that throws me off is how much the production and samples overshadow Ye’s voice. This can for sure grow on me and become much better in the future.

I’ve been waiting for this fucking album for way too long. But I’m definitely impressed, especially the circumstances with Ye last year. The first 2/3rds of the album (KING - WHITE LINES) is unbelievable, I did not think Bully would be at this level, and the reason is I was expecting the old track-list. All of the new songs are short, re-playable and addictive. some chipmunk sampled (PUNCH DRUNK, WHATEVER WORKS) which Ye is the pioneer of and he brings it back 12 years later. The last third of the album ( CIRCLES - THIS ONE HERE) is good but unfinished. I was really hoping there wasn’t any Ai on this album but of course you can’t get your hopes so high (PREACHER MAN). But the thing is Ye will just update the album. It’d be different if this was the final version. Eventually the mixes will be different and he’ll re-record his vocals. So I’ll give the last third some credit. But overall this a great comeback album from his manic episode last year, and definitely a good step in the right direction to find his sound again.
