Rage Against the Machine (1992)
“Rage Against the Machine | 8.6/10 - Exceptional”
“**💭 Thoughts:** Rage Against the Machine’s 1992 self-titled debut completely changed the rock and metal landscape, pushing the boundaries of the genres by blending rap, funk metal, and alternative metal. While defining rap metal, they simultaneously laid the foundation for nu metal bands like Korn and Papa Roach to emerge later in the decade. I will forever be appreciative of this album for its contributions to metal and also its funky bass lines. **❤️ Loved track(s):** - Bombtrack - Killing in the Name - Settle for Nothing - Know Your Enemy - Wake Up - Fistful of Steel - Township Rebellion **👍 Liked track(s):** - Take the Power Back - Bullet in the Head - Freedom **🫤 Mixed track(s):** None **👎 Disliked track(s):** None **🚫 Hated track(s):** None ———————————————————————— **🏅 My Ranking Scale:** 10 = Perfect 9 = Exceptional 8 = Great 7 = Good 6 = Decent 5 = Average 4 = Below Average 3 = Poor 2 = Bad 1 = Awful 0 = Unlistenable”
