“I genuinely think this album is a masterpiece. I only discovered it a couple of days ago and was devastated to find this morning that the band ceased in 2022. The comparisons with Band of Horses are for me a little silly (I love Band of Horses) in that the songs and melodies at least on this album are more complex for me, though there is definitely moments when can hear it in the voice. Every song is great, and whilst there are moments that are too sickly sweet, the songcraft, performance and lyrics are fantastic throughout. They really did merit more success!”
