“The piano, oh my god. Genuinely one of the few reasons I wanted to pick up piano was Fiona music and beautiful use of it, it sets the whole tone for the song. This song is all about insecurity, not accepting the fact that your falling in-love and instead rejecting it and all of the positive thoughts in fear that you’ll miss out, miss a beat or fumble and be left in that same way so instead to not feel it at all. The bridge exampling the overthinking that happens with someone who has beaten themselves down in this way.”
