The Savannah sludge metal band Black Tusk's first album since the death of co-founding bassist and vocalist Jonathan Athon is a joyous wake, not a somber funeral. Athon's tracks were completed before his death, enabling his bandmates to finish Pillars of Ash in his absence, and it's their strongest record yet.
