Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party

Hayley Williams (2025)

9.4/ 10

As someone who basically grew up blasting Paramore in my headphones, hearing Hayley Williams sound this free and fearless on Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party feels kind of surreal but in the best way. The album captures that messy, emotional, slightly chaotic feeling of growing up and letting go of who you thought you had to be. Sonically it’s adventurous, bouncing between raw vulnerability, quirky experimentation, and those unmistakable melodies Hayley has always been great at delivering. What makes it hit so hard is the personality. Hayley doesn’t sound like she’s chasing a sound..she sounds like she’s just being herself, completely unfiltered. There are moments that feel intimate and reflective, and others that explode with the same emotional intensity that made so many of us fall in love with Paramore in the first place. For longtime fans, it almost feels like growing up alongside her. It’s bold, weird, heartfelt, and surprisingly cathartic. By the time it ends, Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party feels less like an album and more like a personal release and honestly, it’s one of the most compelling things she’s ever done.
