“KATSEYE are an up and coming girl band that really shine when it comes to delivering a listening experience that is exciting and really unique with each track, standing out from the crowd and playing off the feel of each track very successfully. For example, the first song of this vibrant EP is titled Gnarly and is everything I imagined about it, that of which being a nasty track that feels like it's been pulled straight out of a Pitch Perfect montage. And then it throws you right off with the rest of the EP being a lot more laid back and easy listening, while still somehow managing to know what it wants to be, especially with Mean Girls which is such an incredible song. Beautiful Chaos is a polished, easy listen that introduces KATSEYE with confidence and catchy pop moments. While the production shines, the EP plays it a bit safe and doesn’t fully define their unique identity yet. Still, it’s a fun start that shows clear potential and leaves you wanting more.
