“**💭 Thoughts:** BLKSMIITH’s 2026 release *NEW TYPE* delivers an even split between bangers and skips. On many songs throughout the album, I feel as if the vocal chops or normal vocals detract from the overall song, ultimately holding the tracks back. While it does work on some tracks such as “NEW TYPE,” blending well with the instrumentals, on a track like “chrome,” I feel like the rapping was not necessary and holds back the song. **🎶 Tracklist Review** 1.) rendezvous 🟣 2.) by any means necessary 🟣 3.)
