F-1 Trillion
Post Malone (2024)
“It kinda works”
“Post Malone has the voice for this genre, but not the creativity. While most of the album is decent country-rock and pop, most of it is also quite derivative. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as the execution is there. A little more effort would’ve gone a long way here. The live band is solid when used, which is not enough. Favs: Wrong Ones, Finer Things, Pour Me A Drink, What Don’t Belong To Me, Guy For That, Missin You Like This, Right About You Meh: California Sober, Hide My Gun”

Post Malone's country pivot could have turned out much better than this.
consequence
For most listeners, this album won’t be life changing, and it’s certainly not a genre-altering landmark a la COWBOY CARTER. But it’s good, and Malone cares so much about the work that it makes it just a bit better.
pitchfork
Post Malone’s first bona fide country album captures the sound of mainstream Nashville, made with a little help from Dolly Parton, Tim McGraw, Luke Combs, and many more.
rollingstone
Posty's foray into country music, F-1 Trillion, is a smooth ride that might've used a few more dusty detours
