LISTENED: 08/24/2025 My favorite out of the trilogy, and my favorite album in The Weeknd’s discography. It seems like everything from the experimental styles of synth-pop, to the surprisingly well-done Brazilian funk just gives this album a movie-like soundscape that I really enjoy. Every track has something of value, and it is a very fun trip in The Weeknd’s mind.

I couldn’t believe how disappointed I was with this album especially with being a huge fan of The Weeknd. His discography is pretty much flawless but I just can’t get into this album at all after at least 5-6 listens now. It obviously has great vocal performances from Abel and has a good few songs but it hits no where near as hard as ‘After Hours’ or ‘Dawn FM’ in this trilogy. Top songs are “Wake Me Up” ft Justice “Sao Paulo” “Open Hearts” “Enjoy The Show” ft Future “Given Up On Me” “I Can’t Wait To Get There” “Timeless” ft Playboi Carti “Niagara Falls” “Take Me Back To LA”
