THE best album of the 2020’s and I don’t think anything will come close to it. The Weeknd was on another level with After Hours. The whole theme of the album is incredible and the world he creates with the album rollout, music videos and singles is amazing. The whole 80s vibes from the production matched with the new modern sound with production from Metro Boomin is a match made in heaven. Singles are incredible, Visuals are incredible, Production is incredible and the vocals from Abel are the best they’ve been. It’s as close to a perfect album as you are gonna get. Top songs ‘After Hours’ ‘Alone Again’ ‘In Your Eyes’ ‘Blinding Lights’ ‘Heartless’ ‘Escape From LA’ ‘Faith’ ‘Save Your Tears’

Phenomenal album start to finish. Whole tracklist feels like a move. Everything flows so well and the transitions are beautiful between songs especially on the first half. Songs like Niagara falls, cry for me and the abyss are my favourites but they are all incredible. I never stop revisiting the album. Every song is a masterpiece. The features are perfect as well. One of the best albums I have ever listened to. Robbed off a grammy. I also think given up on me is the greatest song the weeknd has ever released. The only criticism I have is give me mercy and drive are quite weak cuts but are enjoyable when listening in full.

An almost flawless album from The Weeknd. The second instalment of the new trilogy with ‘After Hours’ & ‘Hurry Up Tomorrow’. This is close behind ‘After Hours’ for me. The whole theme of the album being this radio station in the after life all narrated and hosted by Jim Carrey, comes off so well and fully immerses you in the world that Abel has built. Production & Vocals are incredible again with a full 80s style production and straying away from the modern twist like ‘After Hours’ had. Top songs are ‘Out Of Time’ ‘Sacrifice’ ‘Take My Breath’ ‘How Do I Make You Love Me?’ ‘Don’t Break My Heart’ ‘Is There Someone Else?’

How was he was only 21 when dropping this is insane. This is a perfect project with not a single miss or questionable song on it. This debut project from The Weeknd shows everything he’s got, incredible vocals, great lyrics and writing and a great ear for what sounds good. The whole vibe and theme of this album is to a T and he never strays away from it, every song matches it. The perfect introduction to The Weeknd Top songs are ‘High For This’ ‘What You Need’ ‘House Of Balloons / Glass Table Girls’ ‘The Morning’ ‘Wicked Games’ ‘The Party & The After Party’ “Coming Down’ ‘Loft Music’ ‘The Knowing’

For what everyone calls his weakest album, this still goes so hard. Vocals and production are incredible with a lot of the beats coming from Daft Punk. This album strays away from the dark, moody RnB vibes and goes for upbeat, dance, disco vibes with really vibrant beats & melodies. The features add a lot to the album as well. Top songs on the album are ‘Starboy’ ft Daft Punk ‘Party Monster’ ‘Reminder’ ‘Secrets’ ‘Sidewalks’ ft Kendrick Lamar ‘A Lonely Night’ ‘Die For You’ ‘I Feel It Coming’

A perfect breakup album. Such a moody vibey album with huge emotion on songs like ‘Call Out My Name’. Production from Gesaffelstein is brilliant and vocals from The Weeknd over the futuristic piano and subtle drums is a match made in heaven. If this was a full album it would’ve been rated a lot higher, but for an EP it’s another great addition to The Weeknds discography. Top songs for me are ‘Call Out My Name’ ‘Try Me’ ‘Wasted Times’ ‘Hurt You’ ‘Privilege’

The Weeknds debut album is definitely a love it or hate it piece. I think this is one of his best album, the whole vibe and atmosphere on the album is incredible with a unique sounding production. The vocals, the lyrics and the story telling is insane and Able builds such a cool world to go along with this album. Top songs for me are ‘Professional’ ‘Adaptation’ ‘The Town’ ‘Wanderlust’ ‘Tears In The Rain’ ‘Kissland’ ‘Belong To The World’

Insane album that really propelled The Weeknd into stardom. He strays well away from his usual dark RnB style and goes for a more pop feel on the album which for the most part pays off. Production on the album is incredible and Abel really uses and tests his voice on this album compared to his others. Top songs for me are ‘The Hills’ ‘Acquainted’ ‘Can’t Feel My Face’ ‘Tell Your Friends’ ‘Often’ ‘In The Night’ ‘Earned It’
