Best Drake Albums

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 05/11/2025 Huge upgrade in sound, with this album feeling renovating and expanding in Drake’s potential. Drake pulls all his cards here, using his bravado personality, love themes, good rap bars, smooth production, and trying out fresh new styles for himself, although in my opinion, some tracks try out minimal melodies, and it doesn’t sound too great.”

Miguel “Drakes best album no doubt. Filled with hit after hit and a lot of his best songs come from this album. A lot of inspiration and ideas for this album clearly come from The Weeknd, who was blowing up at this time and had multiple co-signs and collabs with Drake at this point, and I think the album benefits at lot from it as well. This would’ve been rated a lot higher for me but there is a lot of filler in this album and it could’ve been doing with cutting out 2 or 3 tracks but a really great album overall. FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 06/14/2025 Pure, unfiltered bravado to the max. Drake doesn’t hold anything back, and I would mark this album as the biggest change in tone and motive to his musical presence. As for the songs, i’m not big on most of the minimal beats nor the strange love themes to go along with it. There are a few good ones though.”

Miguel “Forgot how great this album is. This is the best Drake has sounded on an album, the lowkey production matches his flows and energy perfectly. Some really great songs on here too, would’ve been rated a lot higher but there’s a bit of a low point in the album round about the middle when PARTYNEXTDOOT features, but other than that this album is really great. Top songs are ‘Energy’ ‘Know Yourself’ ‘No Tellin’’ ‘Star67’ ‘Now & Forever’ ‘You & The 6’ ‘Jungle’”

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 06/13/2025 This album isn’t bad, but it’s a point where I wonder if we will ever receive a Drake album with no filler tracks, and I don’t think we ever will. Still, this album has its good portion of highlights, further encompassing and focused on Drake’s bravado personality.”

Miguel “A really good album from Drake, not anywhere near ‘Take Care’ for me personally. A lot of Drakes classic songs come from this album and he has a lot of great rap performances throughout the album as well. The album as a whole could’ve been a lot better, I feel some of the beats are quite boring and Drakes flows don’t really seem to change too much from song to song. Top songs off the album for me are ‘Tuscan Leather’ ‘Started From The Bottom’ ‘From Time’ ft Jhené Aiko ‘Hold On We’re Going Home’ ft Majid Jordan ‘Too Much’ ft Sampha ‘Pound Cake / Paris Morton Music 2’ ft JAY-Z ‘Come Thru’”

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 06/17/2025 Most cohesive and balanced Drake album in my opinion. While there are boring tracks, they’re placed strangely perfectly as bridges to the next good one. It also has a good vibe to it, not much else to say.”

Miguel “This album has so many bangers. It’s ultra moody and the production with Drakes monotone delivery both go so well together. No gangster talk just Drake crying about women troubles and to be honest that’s probably when he’s at his best. FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 05/09/2025 This album seems like it was made to sound like a demo, and it honestly sounds good like that. The rough bit-crushed style makes this album sound like it was recorded on an Ipod, and even with a good portion of some slow songs, it does fine in its own respect.”

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 05/04/2025 Drake, on his breakout mixtape, incorporates some beats from already-existing songs, but adding his unique style of speaking about love, parties, and some bravado to be on them. With that, there are very few quality tracks, but this album is overall just all over the place.”

Miguel “Terrible from Drake. The accent he adopts for this album is laughable and completely throws you off. Songs mostly sounds like tracks that never made ‘Views’. Obviously there’s a few really good songs on here but for the most part it’s misses. Top songs are ‘Passionfruit’ ‘Portland’ ft Travis Scott & Quavo ‘Teenage Fever’”

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 06/28/2025 Biggest amount of filler songs i’ve heard on an album ever. A 90 minute runtime with 25 songs with sticks and stones for beats is nuts. Drake’s lyrics aren’t enough for me to care about the songs. Shoutout to “Nice For What” though.”

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 07/31/2025 The dark, moody, and love-centered theme gives this album a really special mood, but this album loses its plot at so many points it’s honestly funny. Spanish Drake isn’t that bad, and I think if Drake gets in any more beefs, we’re gonna have a whole album full of only beef bars in the future.”

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 07/02/2025 I hate the gangster style Drake adopts in this album with a burning passion, and even more, the substance in the songs. Jamaican Trap Drake with nothing in the beats or lyrics is soul-draining to listen to.”

Have to pick and choose a few tracks to like that ARE pretty good, but another case of a Drake album needing a lot of song-digging to find a good one. Also, “Way 2 Sexy” is Drake’s worst song.”

FatRatesMusic “LISTENED: 07/09/2025 God, this album had so much potential to be a spacey dance vibe, and I hate that it was wasted like this. Drake trying out the House genre doesn’t really pay off, but I still love “Flight’s Booked”.”
