Bruno Mars, Anderson .Paak & Silk Sonic (2010)
“Doo-Wops & Hooligans is a confident and charming debut that instantly introduced Bruno Mars as a star. Blending pop, soul, and R&B with effortless hooks, tracks like “Just the Way You Are” and “Grenade” still hit thanks to their emotional pull and strong melodies. It’s not his most daring album, but its personality, vocals, and timeless appeal make it an easy four-star listen.”

Such a good album from Bruno Mars filled with absolute hits. You couldn’t go a day in the early 2010s without hearing a song off this album. For a debut album this is a brilliant showcase of what Bruno Mars brings to the Pop genre with a variety of different sounding songs from happy, cheery, upbeat songs to slow, sad, breakup songs, this albums got the lot. Top songs for me are ‘Grenade’ ‘Just The Way You Are’ ‘Runaway Baby’ ‘The Lazy Song’ ‘Marry You’
