Ariana Grande Eternal Sunshine is easily my favorite album of 2024, and it really surprised me in the best way. A 7.7 score feels right because it’s not perfect, but it hits a really sweet emotional and sonic balance that keeps pulling me back. What stands out most is how stripped-back and intentional everything feels. Instead of chasing big pop chaos, she leans into a softer, more reflective sound that still carries her signature vocal precision. There’s a quiet confidence here like she’s not trying to prove anything, just processing and expressing that she is healed (and still healing). Some tracks absolutely shine with that dreamy, slightly nostalgic pop production, while a few moments feel a bit too safe or blended together. But even then, the mood stays consistent, which actually works in its favor if you’re listening front to back. Overall, it feels like a more mature chapter in her discography without losing what makes her voice so recognizable. Not her most explosive era, but definitely one of her most replayable.
