Hilary Duff (2026)
“Luck… or something by Hilary Duff feels like catching up with an old friend you grew up idolizing. As someone who’s followed her from Disney Channel days to her early pop era, there’s something instantly comforting about her voice that is soft, sweet, and familiar. The album has flashes of that nostalgic sparkle that made Metamorphosis-era Hilary so special, especially in the breezier, feel-good tracks. That said, not every song hits as hard as I wanted it to. Some moments feel a little safe, like they’re leaning more on charm than risk. But even when it plays it safe, there’s sincerity there and that’s always been Hilary’s secret weapon. It may not reinvent her sound, but it’s a warm reminder of why so many of us rooted for her in the first place.”
