The production follows suit—simpler, warmer, and less glossy…which really lets her voice and lyrics take center stage. It’s not an album built on big, instant standouts, and that might throw some people off, especially if you came in expecting another Golden Hour. But the beauty of Middle Of Nowhere is in how unforced it feels. It’s reflective, a little understated, and rooted in the sound that made her special in the first place.
