Tame Impala (2010)
“InnerSpeaker | 8.4/10 - Great”
“**💭 Thoughts:** Tame Impala’s 2010 debut album *InnerSpeaker* takes heavy inspiration from the psychedelic rock of the late 1960s and early 1970s, and I can confidently say I love it. The use of phasers, fuzzed-out guitars, synths, and fill-heavy drums creates an immersive sound throughout. It’s one of my favorite neo-psychedelia albums, and it’s an amazing debut. **🎶 Tracklist Review** 1.) It Is Not Meant to Be 🟣 2.) Desire Be Desire Go 🟢 3.) Alter Ego 🟣 4.) Lucidity 🔵 5.) Tame Impala brings back the sounds of 60s psych like it's nobody's business, but I can't help but feel like the band is more of an exercise in nostalgia than anything else.
