Chris Stapleton (2015)
“This album is where Chris shows he’s a serious talent, but it doesn’t always land as strong as Higher. Classics like Tennessee Whiskey and Nobody to Blame are obviously fire, but some tracks feel slow or kind of blend together. His voice is still incredible, and the storytelling is solid, but the album sometimes drags and doesn’t feel as cohesive. Definitely worth listening to, but not quite next-level like his later stuff.”
